Over Christmas our family of 22 adults and children spent four wonderful days at Annamult House Co Kilkenny. To say it was warm comfortable and inviting is an understatement. Every minute there was a pleasure, from walking by the river, in the woods, relaxing by the big log fire, and sleeping snugly in comfortable beds. Shrieks of laughter from our grandchildren could be heard as they played hurling, rugby and football on the lawn, jumped on the trampoline and looked skyward from the swing.
Our days concluded with junior and senior quiz sessions and the odd game of cards by the fire.
Hot freshly baked delicious croissants and scones were delivered by Susan for breakfast on two mornings, and she and John were welcoming and extremely generous hosts.
Can’t wait to return to Annamult.
