A Unique Country Estate
Annamult County House Estate is a lovely Grade I listed ancient Manor House in the heart of the countryside in Kilkenny with parts dating back to the 16th century. But unlike other grand old homes, Annamult Country House Estate is warm, friendly and welcoming with unlimited hot water, central heating and log fires throughout with beautiful antiques. A uniquely beautiful Country Estate. It’s light, bright and airy. And the moment you step through the door it feels like home.

With 7 Bedrooms, 1 on the lower ground floor, 1 wheelchair accessible bedroom on the ground floor and 4 very large formal bedrooms upstairs and our Japanese Bedroom at the heart of the house . 4 Bedrooms are ensuite with the Bed 1 and 2 sharing a Bathroom nestled between them. We also have one spare mobile single Bed.

Few minutes from Kilkenny City
The house is just 10 minutes from the bustling and lively Kilkenny City with its award-winning restaurants and cafes and bars. Visit one of our nearby farm shops and pick up some local sausages for the BBQ or some local goats cheese. Or take a look at our local market like Kilkenny’s historic twice weekly market. It’s one of the best food markets in the country.

An immense Drawing room and Sitting Room and old-world Eating room with is the kitchen, dining, little sitting. There are 7 Bedrooms. 1 on the lower ground floor, 1 ground floor and 4 very large formal bedrooms upstairs and our Japanese Bedroom at the heart of the house.

Spend your summer evenings enjoying a glass of Rosé on the large deck with its outdoor BBQ and magnificent fire pit, and your winter evenings snuggled into the deep sofas next to the wood-burning fireplaces. With a large Kitchen and Dining room complete with three ovens as well as comfy bedrooms and modern bathrooms, Annamult house, Kilkenny is an easy place to come together with friends and family and enjoy a wedding, a celebratory event, hen party or a holiday.
Enjoy Indoors & Outdoors
Or if you’d prefer to stay closer to home but still want to enjoy the fresh autumnal air, Annamult is surrounded by 27 acres of woodland, fields, gardens and wildflower meadows for you and your friends and family to explore. The house sits majestically overlooking the River Nore and the Kings River which runs through the property and guests have private access to our salmon fishing. After your outdoor adventures, come back to the house and gather round the fire pit on the patio to warm up.
Food, Glorious Food
Private caterers aren’t just available for big celebrations like weddings, engagements, birthdays or hen parties. If you’re on a big family holiday or you’re running a corporate event having a meal - or all your meals - catered is as easy as pie. A hog roast around the fire pit is always lots of fun. And a fish and chip supper goes down well with the kids. As do stone baked pizzas. We also know plenty of excellent catering firms who will provide you with a four-course dinner that’s like eating at a fine restaurant. And you don’t even have to leave the house.
